Can I request for my passport back from the Embassy??

Hi All,

I submitted my documents and original passport to the embassy on 7th June for my study permit application. I expected my passport back last week or this week but I still havent got a reply. I really need my passport back this week with or without visa as I need to travel next week to Istanbul and I also need to apply for a Turkey visitor visa.

Is it possible for me to request my passport back from the embassy and return it back to them when they request for it?

Please suggest. Thanks.

No, going to embassy without an appointment is not recommended. All you can do is to fax/email them. You won't be allowed to enter/talk to anyone if you go personally.

There is no such service atleast with CHC Islamabad "getting appointment". such services are only for canadian citizens and they won't discuss anything regarding your visa status or any such issue. only way out is the email / fax
normally they should have given reply by now, wait there is nothing you can do.

Yes, but you are given appointment before your interview (if it has to take place)

Hey Denyl,
Its better to wait atleast fr this week too as u have waited fr two months for your visa. According to my experience u shld be able to receive ur visa this week as we had submitted our our pps's in a gap of 2-3 days!!
Since u have been waiting for ur visa fr the past 2 months, y don't u wait fr 3-4 days more??
Pulling out your pp in the middle of the process is not advisable!!

hello ,
as i had applied for student visa n got rejected for sep intake...bcoz of course irrelevancy..my ielts score is 6 band overall ..can i again apply for visa in jan intake fter choosing relevaant course in some other university or college???some are saying that after getting refusal from embassy ,the chances to get visa becomes lessen.is it so??plz revert ASAP

Nope.. Not at all..

If u are able to rectify the reason of refusal as stated by the embassy (Course Mismatch in your Case).. and file again without that..

Then there will be no problem at all

THANK U SO MUCH...cud u do one more favour for me...there r still some colleges having addmission open for sep batch..plz list it out...as iad complete my B-Tech in electronics and comm. engg...nd ielts =6 bands..lL-6,R-6.5,W-5.5,S-6..SO DAT IT WOULD BE EASY FOR ME TO APPLy addmisiion and visa for sep intake itself.
