Can I renew a TEER 1 work permit after two years of expiration ?

I have a work permit that expired more than two years ago. I left Canada right after the expiration.

As for now, I am interested to restore my status and my work permit so that I can apply for jobs in Canada.

Question: Am I still allowed to do so?

You cannot restore your status or work permit. It's too late for that.

You would need to qualify for a new work permit based on having a job offer from a Canadian employer and an approved LMIA from that employer (assuming the job offer is not LMIA exempt).

Since you say you had a TEER 1 work permit, it sounds like you were previously on a closed work permit tied to a specific employer.

Anyway, regardless, you cannot restore your old work permit.
