can i remove my dependent from my application for PR?

my husband and i had applied for canada together under skilled worker but now we are getting a divorce i am the primary applicant we got the invitation and our application is still under progress its been a year now can i remove his dependent from my application? what is the process? will my application get affected?

Yes you should remove him if you are getting a divorce. Do you have any documents proving that you are separated or getting divorced. It would obviously be best if you had completed divorce documents. Worse comes to worse you can change him to non-accompanying In the application.

You send in a webform asking for your partner to be removed or changed to non-accompanying on your application. If you are removing you should attach documentation relating to your divorce.
