Can I pay my brother college fees through my Indian bank account?

Hello All,
So, I paid half of my brother's fees through my Indian bank account and half from my mother's account.
But he got refusal.
He applied in SDS stream (overall 6, 5.5 IN 2 modules)
12TH ARTS, COURSE - EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION (CONESTOGA COLLEGE)
Consultant is saying that refusal is because of me as I paid fees through my account.
How should we proceed further?
Agent is advising to reapply with CA evaluation or to change college.

The refusal would come with a refusal letter to explain why you were denied study permit. Get this letter from your brother or the agent, address those issues and reapply. I don't think paying fees from multiple bank accounts is the problem.

I stand to be corrected, though.
