Hi All,

I just read the new rules for showing financial proof;

PREFERRED OPTION for proof of funds: you can fulfill the financial requirement by submitting a copy of an Educational Loan from an Indian Chartered Bank equivalent to at least first year’s tuition plus $10 000 CAD to cover living and travel expenses for one year. See information on the following page for the list of acceptable banks

http://www.vfs-canada.co.in/pdf/study_permit_20-09-2012.pdf

My question is can I pay the entire fee for first year from my savings? Then show education loan for only the living expenses ie for CAD10000.00?

What are your opinions?

no way, u must pay from bank loan itself.
under spp u can do that

yes u can do that.
