Can I pay Application Fees Early?

Is it possible to pay the fees for sponsoring a spouse even before I have sent in the sponsorship application? Does this expedite anything at all? I am still waiting for police checks, so I can't send them yet.

You have to pay before you submit your application as you have to include the receipt with your application package.
Once you pay online you will be emailed a receipt.

yes you can do that if you want. It won't expedite anything though - as CIC won't start working on anything until they get the application. But it's a good idea to pay the full amount (including the RPRF) before you send the application- whether you want to do it 2 months in advance or 2 days in advance is up to you, as long as it's done before you send everything.

Yes, you can pay it before hand as Sweden said.

Advantage of paying the fees before is --- if you are ASKED to pay at last so that they can issue you a visa ... it may delay your process

So, its good to pay beforehand. doesnt matter if its few weeks before.. you WILL be sending your application at one time... just attach the receipt

unless the rate changes before you send your app. then you get delayed for not paying correct amount! I did that 1 day before sending app. Not likely to happen but never know.
