Can I open company with a visitor visa in the process of receiving student visa?

Hi,

I have a question regarding opening a company in Canada with a tourist visa. I am a mexican citizen with a tourist visa in canada. I just applied for a student visa. Would it affect my immigration status in any way if I open a canadian business account (Company)?

As far as I am aware starting a company in Canada requires either a Canadian citizen or a PR.
You cannot normally work on a tourist visa.
