Hi All,

I had a query related to current work experience certificate. I feel asking my current employer for work experience certificate can lead to job issues. Is there any way that I can declare to CIC about this or should I omit it from work experience and not claim points since anyways I have 3+ years of relevant work experience in prior job ? Kindly advise.

You can leave it out from work history provided you have sufficient points for program eligibility (if you are applying under FSW). Include this only in your personal history and attach an LOE to explain why you chose to leave it out from work history.

Thanks for the reply.
Just another query can this be a reason for rejection for PR even if I'm having sufficient points?

Also what supporting documents would I have to submit along with LOE( I understand LOE as letter of an explanation. Is it so ? )
Any type of LOE template that you can attach would be much appreciated. Thanks

This will not be a reason for rejection. Work history doesn't require full disclosure.

No supporting documents required. The LOE will be a freestanding letter that simply highlights that you are leaving this experience out because it doesn't add any points to your CRS and program eligibility.
