Hi, I'm about to create my express entry profile. I've got 461 points by myself . So, I'm not going to claim points for my wife's education(Master's). However, in the express entry profile,

1. If I mark her education as 'None' would that lead to rejection of profile due to wrong information?
2. The other way around, if I mark her education as 'Master's' , should I provide WES result?

Kindly advise.

One thing I am sure of is if you mark her education as Masters then you would definitely be required to get ECA done. Regarding the first question, as far as I know if you don't show her education then also you should be fine. You can mention that in personal history later on. But I suggest you should wait for some other member to also comment and confirm.

Yes you can mark as None and add it in Personal History. Also you can explain via LoE, that you did the same coz you are not claiming points for the same.

Others, please post if you have any other views/opinions on this.

Whenever you add any education, the next question is whether this is Canadian and if answered as no it will ask whether ECA was obtained. You can answer that as no. This way you are not hiding any education and no points will be added/claimed for this education.

If you select none, then there is no problem.
If you select Masters, you will have to provide ECA
