atleast for 6 months....and VO can ask for its update at any stage of the processing!

Dear,

i advise you to not make any statement for cic, there is no use of applying for canadian immigration. Cic is not serious, after a long time they will send u a fuck refusal letter without studying ur case.

So dont waste ur time for canada otherwise u will have to face very hard situation

@Fazeel, You should not discourage people like this. How do you know everything in advance? Every case is different. If she is qualified, eligible and prepares her file properly, provide all the necessary documentation then why the hell in this world will somebody reject her case? Everything happens for a reason, isn't it? CIC doesn't reject cases unnecessarily. Please stop discouraging people.

@melissa,cIc usually ask for 6 or 12months bank statement.@ fazeel, the essence of this forum is to clarify, support and encourage others and not to discourage them .remember that our cases differ.so the fact that someone's application is rejected does not mean that the other person's will equally be rejected!!

Agree with chappan and babymart.........

Visa is not a right but a privilege which can be denied, with or without prejudice.

I can understand Fazeel that u finding it tough to deal with the situation ;) ........but be strong and accept it.....maybe thats how god has written ur script........

Is it your money??? Can you prove that you earned that money by legitimate sources or inherited it or got it by selling something of value???
If your answer is yes than yes by all means make the bank statement.

One more way you can show your bank balance is by having a fixed deposit in bank for a period of min 6 months.

If you are borrowing the money by someone and showing it as yours than I suggest you contact a good accountant.

hi melisssa,
You can do that, but if VO ask for the updated POF and a 6month Transaction History....... what you do? think about it... If you are getting salary thro Bank then I believe you can show that and prove it AS its your money
Personally i believe its better to keep money either in your bank a/c or term deposit in your Name -- minimum for 6 months or till you get your Visa stamped.... If I am wrong pl correct me seniors here
Good luck
Ashok

I agree with nano and ashok.still you can prove proof of fund from now on.put your money in account get a bank certifiåtion letter.continue to keep fund in account until you get visa.medical takes few months,if vo ask for statement.you can easily get statement.just for one day not possible as per my ideas concerned. To be on safe side ,we should give 6month statement.

upto 6 months statement will be better, alternatively ask for a certificate from the bank. This certificate shows your account number, Age with the bank and amount. I have given HDFC certificate (Indian bank also associated with Scotia bank in Canada) .

Try avoiding avoid small duaration's statement as will create doubts in the officers mind.

thats my opinion.

all the best, hope the process is less tiring and positive result oriented.

skip the age with bank on certificate.

Skip age with bank?this would show being a regular customer of bank.

My friend has applied with a three months bank statement. He put RS 100000 and took a statement on next day. His balance before was only about less than INR 10000. So dont worry applied they want to see whether you have money or not at the time of application and on landing. They normally do not ask for the source. This is from somebodys personal experience....

Hello darwaish,

I saw ur timelines of application and it seems that you have got the fastest processing time among all LVO applicants. Can u plz share ur NOC and secret of success??

i have a concern regarding my proof of funds...

hope someone can answer for me...
me and my common law partner have a 1M amount in our joint account.
half of it is in 1 account, while the other half is in another account.

we do financing in one of the companies in the city.
we lend money for a 3% interest every month that we use for our monthly allowance.
there is a legal agreement contract that we have signed that such financing will take at certain period of time.

thus, the 1M amount that appears in the bank certificate, will be taken out from there for the financing.
if it happens that CIC requires a 6months bank statement, would it be okay if we show them the mutual agreement/contract that is notarized as a proof instead? that such amount is under our name and was only redirected to financing instead of being kept in the bank?

i need your suggestions please? thank you so much...
