Can I leave to Canada while my study permit is being processed?

I got accepted as an exchange student, school just let me know like a week ago so all the doctors are booked till the end of August. I can get an examination but I don't think I can get the result before leaving to Canada. Can I leave to Canada first then get the study permit while I am in Canada?

Nope you can not.

You will need to get accepted first. Otherwise, you will face problems in the airport and you will not be allowed to enter the country, in my opinion.

i agree! do not leave canada without your document. you will have a hard time when coming back
