People leave their jobs, even leave Canada, during the processing of their CEC PR application.
OP can leave job if they wish - the responders on this thread were just giving information on the options available

I understand that people quit jobs,leave country but it is risky..
I personally wouldnt take it..

I appreciate your advice and really want to get my PR safely but there are some jobs you can't stand for one more year until it's all done... ((

I apologize for jumping in this CEC thread, but I have similar question.

I have closed work permit under LMO.

I applied for Permanent Residence under PNP - category Skilled Worker Existing Work Permit.

My question is: What happens with my PR application if I quit my job?

I know I can legally stay in country, but does quiting affect my PR application?

For PNP I think it will - depending on province. Your best bet would be to ask this question in the PNP forum or refer to the provinces PNP website.
