Implied status exists:
- When you have applied for a new status (your LMIA work permit) before an earlier status expires and until you receive a different status. So your implied status is from the expiry of your IEC to the issuance of your visitor record/visa (if you flagpoled to activate it). If you just got a visitor visa but didn't re-enter the country, it doesn't count until you got your work permit.
I would still want a buffer of longer than the amount of implied status. So if it's from July - September (2 months) I'd want 3-4 extra months of presence.
