I have been waiting for the fulfillment of the PR card requirement of 730 days for quite sometime to go back to see my sick elderly parents. It will be 730 days of continuous living in Canada on November 20th. I have 5 days of living in canada 4 years ago when I landed and left. So I have 735 days. I am planning to file for renewal on November 20th and leave the same day to back home. Will that be all right? or should I file on 19th and leave on 20th? For returning back, my plan is to apply for travel document and use it.

Or should I just leave without renewing and apply for renewal after coming back?

Thank you!

Do not leave without PR and apply for PR on urgent basis and you will get it within a month
then easy go & easy come no worries. ;)

Yes L7 is perfectly and accurately explained.. dont leave the country without PR, apply in urgent basis with traveling tickets and receipts etc...
