Can I leave Canada after I landed and before I get my PR card?

Hi all,

Just wondering, does anyone know if we can leave Canada for a few months after we have gotten the passport stamped and landed, but before we get our PR card?

You are free to go wherever you want, if you are from visa exempt country so you can come back without pr card, if you need a visa, and you don't have pr card, you can apply for travel permit at any canadian consulate or you can enter canada by private vehicle from US without visa and pr card (i did it today actually).

Thanks Verveiko! It's good that I checked. I will need a travel document if I leave Canada and re-enter.
