In theory yes. In practice, you will almost certainly have difficulty in maintaining the residency requirements for one or the other. It's a serious juggling act and CBS can call you out at any time. I assume that you are not accompanying a Canadian citizen spouse...

In theory...yes, but it won't be easy.

You need to stay in Canada for at least 730 days out of each [rolling] 5 year period to meet your Residency Obligation. The U.S. Green Card requirements are not nearly as generous. You must live in The U.S. at least 180 days out of the year...every year. You can probably see the obvious problem.

You could live in The U.S. for at least 900 days (but no less than 180 per year) and then live In Canada for the remaining 925 days of the 5 year period...I guess! :-\

Or...live in Canada for ~4.86 months out of the year (every year) to equal the 730 days and then satisfy the Green Card requirement by spending the other ~7.14 months in The U.S.. each and every year.

Good luck!
