Hey everyone!

So I finally have the money together to pay for my panal physician examination ($295) and have booked it for this Friday 24th! They advised me that they will send the examination results directly to CIC.

So basically I was just wondering if it would be okay to have those results sent to CIC even though they have not requested them yet. I sent my application in July 2015 and so I feel they may ask me for it soon anyway, so just wanted to get on with it really while I have the money (before I spend it lol)

Has anyone done this before and know if it's okay to send this in at any time?

Thanks in advance for any help!

You can totally get it done before they request it. Actually it is recommended so there won't be any delays with your application. :)

I would suggest you to go to your medical exam just before you are ready to sent your apllication. It will be valid just for 1 year

We applied in August 2015 and just did the Medical at the end of May 2016. It will be considered an "upfront" medical since CIC has not yet requested it. The Dr used the E-Medical system so they send it directly to CIC. The Dr's office should give you a printout which is confirmation of having done the exam. A copy of that printout should then be sent to CIC (or scan and send using CSE) with your application info such as File #, UCI #, etc.

Hope that helps.

That does help! Do I scan the e-medical sheet and upload it to my CIC account or do I have to send it in the post? I sent my original application in the post. Thanks

As I mentioned in my post you can scan it and send it through CSE (Case Specific Enquiry). Quicker, easier, and cheaper than mailing/couriering it.

We sent our PCC and E-Medical form (without any request) and CIC received them June 1, 2016. Three weeks later we got our landing interview appointment letter (no SA/AIP/DM letter at all!)
