Can I have COPR sent to a different address (in Canada) than my mailing address (in USA)?

Hi all, I'm an American who just received a PPR today. I will be flying out to be with my husband permanently on June 22, and we were planning on completing the landing process through an appointment and not waiting for the COPR to arrive.

I was unsure if I should 1) have the COPR sent to my current mailing address in USA (my parents live here) and my parents mail out the COPR to Canada after it arrives, or
2) if it's possible to mail out the PPR from the USA and have it mailed to the sponsor's Canadian address afterward.
Should I file a change of mailing address on ECAS if I have it sent to a Canadian address? Any advice appreciated.

Are you in Canada right now or outside of Canada?

If you're outside of Canada, it may not be possible to schedule a landing appointment. You may be required to wait until you get the COPR.

I am currently outside of Canada, but will be flying there on June 22. Sorry for the confusion -- we aren't planning on scheduling the landing appointment until we receive the COPR.

Sure, definitely, but if you get a COPR, you may not be able to schedule a landing appointment? I believe that landing appointments are for people who do not get COPRs, like inland applications - they don't get mailed a COPR, they get it at the landing appointment.

If you're going to be in Canada before COPR, you'll probably need to "flagpole" once you get the COPR - go to the border and walk across then come back and land at the border.

But I may be wrong, and you may be able to land via an appointment.

Thanks for your input! I thought I read somewhere that landing appointments could be scheduled in Ottawa, but we'll see. And my Canadian address is pretty close to the border, so flagpoling is an option if it comes to that.
