Can I go to USA after landing in Canada

Can I go to USA freely after landing in Canada for a short visit or I have to apply for US visa? I am a Bangladeshi recently immigrated to Canada.

you can freely travel between the two countries only if you have visa to the US and visa/PR to Canada.
to apply for visitor's visa to the US being Canadian PR you need to live no less than 6 months in Canada as PR.
