Can I go to Switzetland with work permit visa? Help!!!

Hello!
Im ukrainian, but working in canada as caregiver now. I want to visit my boyfriend in Switzerland for 2-3 weeks in desember. Can I use my work permit visum? If not, what i need to do then? (i have multiple visa up to 1.02.2014 (category W1), in immigration cart wrote (this does not autorize re-entry)).

1. It appears you need a visitor visa for Switzerland, plus transit visas depending on your route.
2. You have a valid TRV to return to Canada so that is not a problem.

can anyone tell me whether travelling outside canada whilst your application for permanent residence under live in care program is in process is good or bad. will travelling outside affect my application negatively?
also please go and sign the petition to minister kennedy to shorten the lengthy time for PR application

i entreat all live in caregivers to go and sign the petiton at change.org to minister kennedy to shorten the long delays in PR application. we all want this problem to be resolved,all you need to do is sign that petition. currently,we need 59 people to sigh. there are more than 59 caregivers and friends using this site. dont give excuses,take the time to sign.

can anyone with the right information or who has experienced this tell me: what happens when your work permit and passport and visa all expire and your application for permanent residence is in process under the live in caregiver program and you haave owp. Do you renew your passport and apply for a new visa?
