I already have a letter from my employer that I immediately handed in together with my passport & work permit, so he didn't call my employer anymore to verify & just checked from their computer if I my application is already in process...

hi!im confused what they call multiple visa.i got my multiple visa in canadian embassy in israel where i worked before as live in caregiver.i have plan to have 2weeks vacation to philippines this dec 2010.my multiple visa and work permit still valid until 2012.do i need to get re entry visa.i hope i can get an advice.thanks

If your multiple entry visa and your WP are still both valid, all you need is a letter from your employer stating that you are coming back to work for them after your vacation.

That's absolutely TRUE!!!

@lenc ---thanks i think i better do that...im going to apply for extension with the same employer then TRV. just incase i wanna go for a visit in the Phil.

No, you are not going to get a re-entry visa, I called the canadian embassy manila if i need to get re-entry visa since my TRV still valid until 2011, I am taking a vacation too on december...I will call them again just to make sure that they hasn't change to get a re-entry visa..:0

can i just pull out my OWP application and get an extension instead?

should i wait for my extension application result before i apply for my TRV (re-entry)
even though my work permit on hand is still good by the time i return here?

@michan- ay oo pala you just passed your OWP. in my case i have done it before i passed my OWP and PR application, so i am not sure then, Iam asking to all our co-forumers about your case any input?thanks and god bless!

ah ok lang pala that is nice! michan!

sana wala ng maging problema pgblik ko d2...
kung my workpermit ako until 2012 and my TRV at letter from employer...

how long does it take for the trv application to be approved?

Usually in two weeks time you'll get back your passport. Basta kumpleto yung pinadala mo na mga requirements. Importante yung letter from your employer.

HI again friends...I just passed my application for PR today...yehey,,,Prayed that everything goes well with my application. How can I check it online, I can't log in using my Client ID or IMM 5401 receipt. Please help..thanks

hello tinkermarie!
good luck! usually, after 2months mo pa ma-che-check yung status in e-cas kc hindi sila nag-u-update unless start na nila yung pag-process w/c takes 2-3months upon filing as I've observed from the timeline of previous applicants like me :)
your Client ID is in your WORK PERMIT. You can find it there. God bless us all!
