Hello,

I am willing to apply for visa to Canada for studies, but due to some personal reasons i cannot start the visa process before 16 June 2014. I would like to ask about my chances of getting a visa so that I couldn't miss my September intake.

It merits mentioning here that I already have the admission letter from one of the Canadian university but i couldn't proceed with the visa process before 16 June.

There would be a total time of around 76 days between September 1, 2014 and June 16, 2014,
is this enough time to receive the Visa decision for Pakistani students ?

Should I apply online or paper-based ?

on line is faster in comparison to paper but also everything depends on your biography: how many fact CIC has to check.
About processing time look at www.cic.gc.ca (AVERAGE processing time by VO)

The processing time for Pakistan is exactly 77 days :p,
I hop i will be able to get the visa before my classes begins.

Well, it is average. So if somebody got his visa in 50 day your period of waiting could be 100 days.

Well you could be little optimistic.
Anyway, that's what CIC says,

The times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between January 1, to December 31, 2013.

You better do pre-med and have PCC at hand in order to boost the process on your part.

Thank you very much,
I shall be going for the Medical on monday, but first i would call, in case i need to make an appointment.

You are most welcome. As far as I know from my experience, you need to book an appointment with the physician's office first because it is usually pretty crowded in there. I was only able to schedule an exam two weeks in advance. Good luck.

Dude you will get it dont worry,

Go for online application and send medical upfront.

Hopefully you will get visa in less than a month

Good Luck

I second Ali above.

You will get the visa. Apply online and take the upfront medical exam right now so that time can be saved. (canmedpk@iom.int)

To apply for SP you have to have a LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE from Canadian University. And in your case , also, the results of med test. To pass med test upfront- call the designated doctor and make an appointment , telling him you are going to apply for a SP. HE knows what to do.
