I'm an international student studying in Australia now, my homeland is China.

I applied for a TRV last week, but i was refused for several reasons.

The reasons are below:

1.Travel history. (I don't travel to any other foreign countries except Australia.)

2.Purpose of visit. (I am gonna visit my girlfriend who is studying in Vancouver. Is an invite letter helpful? Should I stress more on that I will come back? Or is there anything that I should pay more attention to?)

3.Your personal assets and Financial status. (I am now a student, I spend nearly all the money from my parents. How should I solve this problem?)

4."I am not satisfied that you have sufficient funds, including income or assets, to carry out your stated purpose in going to Canada or to maintain yourself while in Canada and to effect your departure." (I have provided my bank statement and I have about $5,000 to use in this traveling. Is it still not enough?!)

I provided my enrollment statement and my transcript. I plan to visit my girlfriend during my summer vacation while in Canada it's winter vacation.

What should I prove to get my TRV?
Does anyone can help me?
Thanks in advance for all your replies.

did you mark N/A where not applicable, I do not remember providing travel history in my appliction last week.

2.Purpose of visit. (I am gonna visit my girlfriend who is studying in Vancouver. Is an invite letter helpful? Should I stress more on that I will come back? Or is there anything that I should pay more attention to?)
invitation letter would help I think, stating you would need to get back to college for your studies along with airline itinerary showing your return date.

3.Your personal assets and Financial status. (I am now a student, I spend nearly all the money from my parents. How should I solve this problem?)

any statemnt if you are working part time/intern.

4."I am not satisfied that you have sufficient funds, including income or assets, to carry out your stated purpose in going to Canada or to maintain yourself while in Canada and to effect your departure." correct most part of your aavailable funds would go for air ticket, that is why an invitation letter sating your girl friend would bear your expenses while in Canada might help, however she may have to enclose her bank statement to satisfy she has enough funds to cover you. I may be wrong, but this is what I think would satisfy the officer.

1. There is no place in the application form for me to fill in my travel history. Maybe it can be found in my passport. However, I only travel to and now study in Australia...

2. I think one return air ticket will work.

3. How should I provide my personal assets and financial status if I'm only a full-time student and I have no job/intern...?

Thanks a ton for your patience:D

2) Wait until you have the visa, otherwise it would be a waste of money for buying an air ticket if the visa refused
3) Many children in China co owns their residence with their parents and have personal bank accounts. So it's still possible to show any assets and financial status even for a full-time student.

about how much money should I prepare in my bank statement? It's $10,000 enough? I'll stay about 10-14 days.

Thank you again:D
If the bank statement doesn't show you have $10,000 for a recent 3 months, perhaps you can consider to ask the bank to issue a letter for you about your financial status. likewise, for your Canadian host.
