I'll keep it short.
I am looking to transition from engineering (NOC2253) to sales (NOC6221). I've got exactly 1 year of work experience under my belt in engineering and want to try a different career path.
My limitation is that the job has to be technical. Jobs titled "Technical sales" usually require university degree or specific experience which I don't have.
I am keen on getting an entry level job doing cold-calling and setting up appointments for account executive (a person who makes a deal) or something similar. Those type of entry sales jobs (SDR / BDR) are very-very valuable in a long run in a sales career, and experience is not required most of the time.
Assuming I am in the industry of a technical product of some sort (software, HVAC, manufacturing equipment) will this count as NOC6221, even though I had no prior experience or relevant education?
I am aiming to get 2 years of work experience, and apply for PR through EE afterwards.
