Can I get my Work Permit at the POE if I require a Medical Examination?

I have received a job offer and positive LMO and do require a medical exam as I will be working with students and was wondering if it was possible to still apply for the work permit at a POE? Are there specific POE's that can only access that information if any? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
