Can I get Express entry for only myself, my wife does not want pr.

I am currently staying in Canada with my wife, however my wife does not want PR, she might change her mind later, but can I initiate it only for myself for now and mention that my wife is not coming with me?

my wife would probably kill me if i didint add her in my application ? can you please tell me how u manged to convince her not to add her to your PR application ?

You don't really have to stay after getting PR. Its always good to have a permanent status. Once you become PR then decide if she wants to maintain her PR.

Your wife is already in Canada with you, and you want CIC to believe she is non-accompanying? Do you see the issue?

If CIC does accept that she is non-accompanying (even as she IS accompanying), she will still need to provide PCCs and the medical exam, to ensure that she is admissible and can be sponsored later. Much easier to just apply now, together.

PR is not a mandatory sentence, if she gets PR and decides to leave later, there is no problem with that. But a married couple who is living together in Canada ...? I know you've already discussed this as a couple, but ... you need to help her understand that it is not so simple to just "decide later."
