Hello all, here is my profile

10th: 88% (923/1050)
12th: 81.8% (899/1100)
UG : ~66.7% (2.606/4)
IELTS: 7.5

they say on the site, that minimum admission requirement is a CGPA of 3 in the last 60 hours of study, and my cgpa comes up 3.1 in the llast 4 semesters. kindly let me know what are my chances, also, how competitive is UoM, and how much difference is their in the entry averages for local and international students? help will be appreciated.

Hello i got addmision to manitoba grad school last Sept For may 2016 and im waiting for my study permit.

I think the most important thing is finding a supervisor then as long as ur gpa is above 3, then ur chances are good.

it all depends on what is average GPA of candidates on that semester.

ex: even though minimum is 3 , average GPA is 3.5 then you would not have a chance.

Ask admission for graduate study about what was minimum/avarage GPA last year.
They will give you more info.

Good luck.

basically i am taking the coursework route in M.Sc Computer Science, and it says that i do not need a supervisor or adviser for that.

@kaabka, do u mind me asking which discipline you chose and what exactly was your GPA, if it is ok with you?

Msc in pharmacy and my 5-year gpa was 3.15 and my last 60 credit gpa was just over 3.3
