Hello,
It's not for me but for one of my friends.
He is working in Canada on a closed work permit from 4 years now. His work permit was renewed a month ago.
He created his express entry profile and got a score of 448. He has his old offer letter but not the new one at the time his work permit was renewed.
He will get additional 50 points if he can provide the latest offer letter but his employer is not helping in any way. They are a major IT consulting company in India and have a lot of Employees in Canada. They are not willing to provide a letter of the offer letter that states the wordings as IRCC requirements.
A friend suggested to apply for GCMS notes and get the offer letter from there and submit it during the application with a LOE explaining the situation along with the pay slips and letter's from colleagues etc.
Is this an option? Can he do anything else to prove his employment in Canada to secure the 50 additional points?
