Can I enrol my dependents to public school?

I have work permit approved and will be bringing my family with 3 elementary kids as dependents. Can I enrol them to public elementary schools as dependents?

No you will not have to pay school fees.

*But*, depending on province/district/school board/school there will be various fees (supplies, equipment, outings, meals, memberships, etc, etc, etc) that may be charged.

I will be coming to Vancouver, arriving around end of October. From various website I see that I have missed the admission cycle, so does that mean my kids will have to wait till next cycle which will be next September?

No. You should contact the local school board for where you will be living, who will explain how to go about enrolling them.
