Date on job letter Dec 23 2013 - I'll have my manager sign if before as he is going on a vacation.

Can I send the application Dec 20 (Friday) - it will be delivered on Dec 23 2013 (same date as job letter date) ?

advisable/not advisable?

Ya, we're not in back to the future here. You can't be time travelling and all those fancy things.
If you send on Dec 20th, you can't put a future date on your reference letter. Wait until you're eligible
and then apply.

I complete my 1 year on Dec 18...

so eligibility is not an issue here.. application not reaching before Dec 25 is

Then put Dec-20th on the letter, the day you mail your application.

Just don't mess with the system. You can't date letter on a date in the future. That's it. There's nothing else to be said.

it should not be necessary to stress that, but a letter should be dated as of the date when it is actually signed.

Wait until your 12 months are up, get a reference letter from after that point in time and submit your application when you have everything in place.

canadavisa13: Thank you :)

Toby knows why I asked this Question (I sent him a PM explaining my situation) and I got my answer.

Thanks Toby.

Roger: Roger that :)

Scenario 1: No one notices and it doesn't matter.

Scenario 2: You get a VO who is ****** off with the BS applicants keep trying on and they refuse your application on misrepresentation grounds subsequently making you inadmissible to Canada for a period of three years.

No one here can give you an answer to the question. The above gives you an idea of both sides of the coin.

Let us know what you decide to do.

Wow!! Chill guys. Don't be so hard on him. He is after all a new_guy!! Jokes apart, new_guy if your letter is dated as Dec 23 and the date cannot be changed then apply on 23rd else try to get the date changed for the day you want to apply. That's the jist of what everyone here is trying to tell you and I'm sure all comments were in good sport. Have a great PR journey.

If you would like to deal with PM's then dont post a new thread, you are wasting others time. Either post your situation and query or dont start a new thread.

People are here to help each other........ PERIOD.

New_guy,

Make sure employment dates in IMM0008 schedule 8 application form will total to 1 year. VO will never accept any changes to the dates you mentioned in the application. VO may accept updated reference letter.

Would there be any problem if you submit the application on December 23rd with all dates as December 23rd ?

The reason I asked this stupid Q was: Issue date on my PGWP is Dec 19 2012 which means I finish my 1 year job experience on Dec 18 2013.

My last Q in this forum was for the same and everyone told me to give couple of buffer days so I planned to send my package on Dec 23 (Date on job letter Dec 23 2013)

I thought the package would be delivered on Dec 24 sometime in the morning but when I called Purolator, Canada Post and FedEx - They all say the package will be delivered next day before 6 PM.

My only concern was - What if CIC office in Sydney closes at 4 or 5 and then my package gets delayed because of holidays..

So what's the problem with a package being delayed for a couple of days? ... when we're talking about
a process that's gonna take you 10-12 months anyway?
Send the package on the day your letter is dated, period.

Date on Job Letter would be Dec 23 and I will be sending the package on Dec 23

Thanks all for your help :)
