Can i do job BEFORE getting PR card after landing in Canada ?

After i land in canada, it will take 1.5 months or more to get PR card. Can i work legally before that, and what documents can i use to show my legal work eligible status.

I think you may get your SIN as soon as you land there and on that basis you can open your bank a/c and work as well.

You can apply and get your SIN number the very same day or the next day of Landing, after you get your SIN number you can start working and do all financial transactions like opening an account etc... You only need the PR card if you want to travel out of Canada and later return.

1) As long as u've the SIN (the No. only. The physical card isn't imp.) u can be employed.
2) Ur COPR.
