You can make these changes provided they don't make a material difference to your program eligibility and/or CRS score. Such changes wouldn't be construed as misrepresentation.

What changes do you want to make?

i completely deleted my pre populated lists for employment and education, because it was easier for me to just enter everything again. pre populated lists were all mixed in, so instead I arranged them according to dates. I don't think this matters, as long as you have everything you claimed in your profile ( work experiance, education etc.).

also., in my ee profile, I put in my high school education as well and this transfered into my application., in my eAPR I deleated this and only put in post secondary credentials.

since this doesnt impact my eligibility or my score, I dont think it should be an issue, and if I am called to explain or support this, I can provide evidence that in deed this is true, I just didnt include it in my eAPR

you can do that but make sure its not false information and doesn't hamper your points scale either :)

Thanks Asivad and others.

It is just my employment record. Like I work in TCS India joined in 2008 but in 2011 i was shifted to TCS Dubai. So while creating my express entry profile I meantioned date of joining as 2008 till date and country Dubai but now i want to be more specific
like 2009 till 2011 TCS india and then 2011 till date TCS dubai

Hope i am not creating confusion. Can i change this

You can make these changes. If your NOC did not change between the India and Dubai roles, you can have just 1 entry in the Work history section as you have now and have 2 entries in Personal history section.

Add a second entry for TCS Dubai in your Work history section only if your NOC changed else leave it as-is. Else you will be prompted to upload 2 work reference letters, one for India and one for Dubai, which is just plain silly and frustrating if your NOC remained the same.

Hi Asivad ,

My situation is also same . I work for the company for 10 yrs , but 6 yrs in India and 4 yrs outside india , but same noc . Just change in country . I got my only one reference letter . But the letter says the dates in worked in both the countries .....

1)Can I just create one work exp entry ?
2)If I create two entries , one for each country , can I upload same work ref letter for both ?

Either of those 2 would work. To keep it simple, you can just have 1 entry in Work history section.

That should be fine for CRS purposes because that maxes out at 3 years of work experience. Check if your FSWP score reaches 67/100 with just 13 points for work experience (assuming that you're applying under that program). If you're falling short there, add experience going back up to 2008/9 at least.

Hello Asivad,

May I request your input, and that of other forum members, on my questions -

I received my ITA on 18th September, in my Express Entry profile I had mentioned 3 years of work experience outside of Canada (2 employers). I mistakenly mentioned the names of the client sites I worked at (as opposed to my employers' names) in the EE profile and then on September 16th (2 days before draw #17) - I realized my mistake and made the appropriate changes to my EE profile to write my Employers names and remove the Clients names in my work history.
On 18th when I got my ITA, I went to fill out the ITA forms and in the work experience section, I saw the names of the clients pre-filled (but editable) instead of my employers names. I changed this to my employers names, but I am concerned as I do not want CIC to accuse me of lies in my form. Please advice on what I could do in this situation.

Just yesterday, I checked my EE profile again and I see that the changes I made on the 16th are still there. My work experience duration's and NOC codes did not change in this process.

Such edits are completely fine and the system allows one to make such edits post ITA. Don't worry about these edits - you aren't lying.
