I have a close work permit from LMIA. After I get Alberta Provincial nomination Can I apply a new close work permit with Provincial nomination Support Letter and change my job title and wage? Will Alberta Provincial office withdraw my Provincial nomination?

Alberta can withdraw your nomination if you are not continuing to abide by the terms of your nomination which includes staying in Alberta and working for the employer listed in your nomination certificate (if applicable).

But by the sounds of it if you're getting the nomination updated through Alberta and applying for a new work permit with that employer it should be fine, otherwise they wouldn't be approving your nomination.

Thank you,I still work for the same company, But my company want to change my job duty and wage.My nomination does not have employer restriction eventhough I have close work permit.Should I notice Alberta office? I I'm quite anxious about withdrawing my nomination.

Do they want to make your job duty/wage higher? i.e. is this a promotion?

The issue would be more on your work permit side of things which restricts your occupation, so if it changes the NOC code then you have an issue with your work permit conditions. I would definitely tell Alberta that this is what your employer wants to do, and ask for what support they can offer. Alberta wants you to get PR and so they might revise your nomination and give you a new work permit support letter.

Um, okay that is a big issue. In Saskatchewan, if your wage falls, you're required to tell SINP because it is effectively viewed as a demotion and an adverse change to job conditions, and the risk there is that the wage is now below the median required for recruitment purposes.

To be honest, outside of COVID, I have never seen any organization force a pay cut on an employee. I'm not even sure if that's legal under Alberta law.

Same here in Ontario. Funny thing is, even a salary increase is questioned in my OINP application.(they questioned why my job offer letter dated two years prior shows a "lower" salary offer than what my current paystub says).
