Hi Guys, I wanted some help here with my situation. I am currently in Toronto, working for a IT Company. I am a Indian Citizen, came to Toronto 1 year ago, working full time for a IT company. I came to Canada on Work Permit (Closed Work Permit). I applied to Ontario PNP and i got selected in the recent PNP program. My PNP file is in progress right now. I wanted to know, after i get my PNP and before i get my PR can i immediately change my job from my current employer and join some other company as full time employee in the new company? Am i legally allowed to do this switch? if not then are there any ways to legally switch my job immediately after getting ontario PNP?

You need to obtain a BOWP in order to be able to change jobs. You cannot change jobs on a closed work permit. Also, depending on the PNP stream you applied under, changing jobs before you get PR could impact the approval of your application. Specifically if it's an employer supported stream, then it may not be possible to change jobs without making sure you can change the nomination to your new employer and that your new employer is willing to support the nomination.
Legally speaking you are allowed to change your Job if the new employer is ready to sponsor your work permit i.e. you can give an interview/accept offer. You cant you user existing WP tied to a particular employer to work for another employer.
As mentioned above if the PNP is sponsored by the employer, the employer by law needs to inform that you no longer work with them which may make you in eligible for PNP and your PR process may get delayed significantly. Since you would need a new ITA by Ontario
I recommend to stay in your current role till you get your eCOPR and then think of changing.
