If you 've taken admission to a 2 years Diploma programme (pursued usually after 12th grade), then you can change... but only to another 2 years Diploma programme, in any field.. in any of the recognized colleges... Provided you meet the eligibility criteria and there's availability of seats for that new programme...

I said..in respect to staying on same permit, without the trouble of notifying, making changes or any other worries. It's obvious..if one has to make changes to other credential level/ course duration etc. one has to notify and make changes in existing permit.enfield said:

Hey what if I get a permit and arrive on the basis of an Ontario graduate certificate (a PG course) and then want to move to a diploma (post grade 12 level) course? Would I Still need to inform them? Secondly, the certi is 1 yr n diploma maybe 16 months or 2 years.... So then do I ask for extension at the time of informing them, or 3 months prior to permit termination? Thirdly, do I just need to inform or is it a permission which could possibly be rejected?????
