Can I change Job title after receiving ITA?

Dear Members,

I had created EE Profile with job title as " senior Analyst" working in canada since Oct 2016 as my current job.
I got promoted on 1st Dec, 2017 as " application development analyst".
Can i update the new job title as my current job, this will be there in my Company reference letter as well.

Other conditions like NOC Code, experience, job role/responsibities remain same.

Do I need to provide Letter of Explanation for above change?

Well... if it actually was a promotion, your job dutes/responsibilities should have changed, and you should list this as a new position (even if it has the same NOC code).

If it is a simple change in job title, then you can simply correct it on your eAPR.

In my case job dutes/responsibilities remains same after promotion.
Also Can i provide the designation along with during on empoyer reference letter and provide the dutes/responsibilities remained same for both designation.
Kindly advise.

Hi Seniors,
I am in a similar sitation

I am applying under Noc 2174
For the first company which was a startup, I worked for 6 months as a Developer for Network Drivers and IT related applications
The designation they provided initially was of a Network Engineer because of Network related development..

The experience letter given by this company mentions me as a Software developer(2174), while official designation was of a Network Engineer(Was a mistake though on part of issuing person)
I noticed the mistake when I was collecting offer letters to scan and upload..

The information I provided before receiving ITA was also that of a Software developer as my designation..

My question is can I modify the designation now within same NOC code, though it falls under a different NOC code technically and get a new reference letter mentioning correct designation, without changing job responsibilities which fall under 2174.
.
Please advise regarding the same..
