Can i change course?

hello

I need some advice please??

I have received my letter from immigration to come study full time for 1 year in canada. I am coming on the 23rd. My course is due to start on the 28th feburary 2011 and ends 20th march 2012

The thing is that i dont want to do this course but i want to do a course starting in sept for 7 months at a different college. Will the college inform immagration that i didnt attend the course or am i ok to just wait and start my course in sept???

I know that nowdays a person is allowed to change courses without giving notifiaction so i am just curious wheter my college will call immigration and if they did , would immigration come looking for me to see if i am studying?

you have to go to land in canada first

than yes u can apply for course change

u have to inform immigration there..

its up to them to decide wether they allow u or not..

I mean when i land in canada and go through immigration i will tell them i am attending my course in march. But when march comes i will not start that course and I will enroll for a different course in sept? This course will be finished by the time my student permit expires.

So my question really is, will my college ( in march) call immigration and inform them that i didnt attend and will they not or am i allowed to study what i want during my 1 year student permit time limit?
