Hello Everyone!

I hope someone may help me! My condition is described as below.

I took 2 year study in Toronto, I have OWP till June 2017, moved to Alberta in June 2014. I am working as a care giver full time since Nov 2014 and my officially two years will complete in December 2016.
I did court marriage in India in may 2015, applied and got OWP of spouse till June 2017(Dependent visa) same like me, in Sept 2015, she landed in Canada in December 2015, Currently working in A&W.
Now, we decided to get separated due to personal reasons, as I am the main applicant. My ainp (NOC 4212, EDS)is in process since March 2015, her name was added as dependent in AINP, in July 2015.

So, If I apply for high medical need program(2 Years) in Dec. 2016 with out her, would that affect my Application Decision? or what I should do? We are from the same city in India.

I really need advise from you EXPERTS! Please help me. Your Time and Attention is highly appreciated!

Sorry to hear about your seperation. But, as far as you need advice, then if you get legally seperated (i.e. divorced), and have all the papers intact, then it wont be any problem. When you are filing you PR or any application in future, just include the copy of divorce papers, and to be more clear, you can mention it in your cover letter about you being married in the past.

If you make everything clear, and understandable, I don't think it will have any bad effect.

(Just to be cautious, if your spouse came of SOWP, and you are getting legally seperated, I don't know what will happen to your spouse's status in Canada. Just to make that thing clear, you can consult some professional or someone who has been through seperation while being in process of immigration. God bless you.)
