Hi,

My Oath is tomorrow in Montréal and I was wondering if I should bring My Wife and Daughter (5 year old) with me or not. What do you advise ?

You can take your family but be there a little early. It is a proud moment and you want your loved ones with you. CIC understands that but if you go late then there may not be enough space for them. Congrats!

I am Canadian now :) Ceremony was very nice and there were a lot of seating for guests.

Also people advised to arrive early (that's what I did) but CIC don't want people to arrive early as it create rush for nothing. Ceremony started 1 hour after the time indicated so people were coming for 1 hour.

I don't know how it is in other places but you don't need to come early as per my experience of yesterday.

Good luck to everyone who are still waiting, I hope you hear good news very soon.

It does say on the CIC website that you must be on time but definitely not too early. On time woud be like 5-10 minutes early. They do account for 15 minutes of registration and seating but that will depend on number of ppl called.
