Can I become a P.Eng. before coming to Canada?

I got exempt from tech exams since I have more than 10 years experience. Only I wrote NPPE exam and got PEng.

I have those from the APEGA site, but I wanted to know is there any scrips or materials form the people who already passed this exam.
We are not in Canada yet, so my husband would take the test in our country.
Any advise for this kind of exame-testing?

Hi, we are filing for our Manitoba immigration papers and hoping for a speedy processing. Just started actually but want to clarify, my husband has 11 years experience as Electrical Engineer here in Dubai. So it means there is chance he will not need to take an exam to become P.Eng?
