Can I be sponsored twice?

So, my my relationship with my husband dissolved a while back and I am now renouncing my PR. Figured it would be better than waiting for him to tell CIC about it (besides being what you should legally do and so on). Trouble is, I met someone here and we have been together for a while. He knows about the entire story and he says that he would sponsor me when it's possible (we are a real couple btw, we live together. After me and husband were done I had to leave the house and get a roommate)

Regardless, would there be any issues getting a new PR if he sponsored me or is it problematic? Did it happen to anyone yet? Thank you so much for your help.

Also, I've read on the CIC website that after resigning PR I would get a 6 month visa. Will it happen on my case?

There is, as far as I am aware, no requirement to self report for Condition 51 violation. We don't know how actively IRCC or CBSA are following up even on reported cases, let alone random checking at this point. You may be best served by keeping under the radar and just getting on with your life as a PR. If, and only if, you were investigated would the issue of needing to be responsored arise. In any event, there would not be any problem re a second sponsorship.

Yes, don't jump to conclusions about this. Do you have evidence of his cheating? There's nothing stating that you will lose your PR even if he does report it, but it's a good idea to have some evidence to back yourself up. Assuming you are being truthful, I don't see a reason to complicate matters by renouncing your pr!

I do, but Condition 51 says nothing about cheating, it's for abuse and neglect.
Cheating is emotional abuse.

I agree with you but apparently not for CIC. I also can't prove his reaction when I discovered, he would just stare at me blankly, I was crying my heart out and no reaction from him, like my feeling didn't mean anything.

His current girlfriend, however, threatened me. I have the conversation on Facebook. Is it worth anything? I became her friend afterwards cuz I didn't want no trouble, tho.
Can you try to amicably get them to agree to give you a break til April, in the meantime you guys prepare everything you need to proceed with a quick uncomplicated divorce to be filed as soon as your condition expires, and they can go get married a month after the divorce is final.

Can we get divorced as soon as the conditional expires without trouble? Also I think it might be too late since he sent CIC an email asking questions about it. Can't they investigate?

I would wait to renounce your PR until there is a definite indication IRCC is going to investigate you for breaking the condition. Just a gut feeling, but if you renounce it now and then reapply fairly soon afterwards, they may consider that relationship of convenience. If IRCC doesn't follow up, Bob's yer uncle! If they don't follow up, you will have renounced your PR for no reason.

This.
Good advice.
I would add that hiring a private investigator is a good measure.

You can get a bit clever about showing proof. Don't you have access to credit card bills, bank accounts? If it were me, I'd at least try to get something. Don't just give up, makes no sense what you want to do.

Great tips.
Just try to avoid violence of any kind when dealing with your spouse. Avoid handling firearms, knives, hunting bows, shotguns, explosives etc.
Also, do not threaten to end his life, maim him, cut his sexual organ or burn his house or car.
Solid advice on this thread, thanks

Good to hear.
Please don't take the law into your hands, and stay away from committing crimes, it will not work out in the end.
Thank you.
