Hello all, I have a a BIG decision in front of me and I would be really grateful if someone can help me.Me and my husband decided to go ahead with the Family Class Sponsorship, but because he is in Canada and I am in Bulgaria it needs to be sponsoring outside of Canada ,but this is turning to be extremely expensive so this leads me to my question " Can I apply for a temporary resident visa, and go ahead with the sponsoring but this time inside Canada ?
I will be really grateful to any information.Thank you all in advance!

As much as I'm readying |I'm getting more and more confused. If I apply for a visa and move to Canada to have the sponsoring done inland I'll be on a visiting visa because there is no other option or if I put anything else I may put my visa approval in jeopardy by giving the visa office reason to think I'm doing this all wrong. And even if I get the visa I need to keep extending it trough the whole time of the sponsoring and in case my visa extension get declined I need to return to my country of residence and the sponsoring will fail.
Please help me out, I can't afford to do the sponsoring outland because financially I can't afford it but if we do the inland there is a risk of a bigger failure.

What do you mean you can't afford outland sponsorship? Do you mean you can't afford to pay the fees, or that you can't afford to support yourself for the time it would take for the file to be processed in Bucharest?

I ask because the fees for applying inland and outland are the same, so if you think they're different there might be some confusion.

Thank you for the note, I meant supporting my self trough the time of the sponsoring and all the fees for the medicals and the costs of the travelling expenses considering I'll be travelling to Romanian latter on for the interview.

You can apply outland while you are living outside of Canada or while you are visiting Canada. If you need a visa to enter Canada, just apply for one. You will need proof you plan to leave Canada before the visa expires. However, once you are in Canada, you can apply to extend the visa, which is usually granted. Many people apply outland while they are actually here in Canada visiting.

Once you are in Canada, you can also apply inland. (Note: you can also apply outland while in Canada). You will be on implied status while the inland application is being processed. Inland usually takes longer than outland, but not always.

If there is an interview with an outland application, it will be held at the visa office processing your application, so yes, you would have to be in Europe for it. However, if you submit a lot of evidence your relationship is genuine, and there is nothing 'suspicious' about your application, there may well be no interview.

Oh, ok. Just in case you aren't aware, you would have to have the medical done inside Canada if you chose to apply inland as well.

Also, if you choose to apply inland, you wouldn't be able to work until at least the stage 1 is finished (6 months at the moment) if you apply for an open work permit with your application. If your spouse is able to support you during these six months, as he would have to if you came to Canada before the process, would it be possible for him to send you money while you are still in Bulgaria to pay for transport to Romania for the interview, and that sort of thing?

You can apply for a visa to enter Canada, and if you are successful you absolutely can apply inland, but the problem is getting that visa. Being married to a Canadian citizen, you will have to show a LOT of proof that you are going to go back to Bulgaria once your visa expires, and honestly, the chances of you getting the visa are slim to none. You can try for it, but I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you, as odds are you will be rejected.
