Can I be flagged by someone just calling immigration and making an accusation?

The sister of an ex-girlfriend of mine has contacted me after 18 months of not hearing from them and told me that she contacted immigration in Canada to tell them of an incident with my ex girlfriend and that I'm now flagged and will be in immediate trouble when I get to Canada. Can this happen? I have no criminal record and the incident wasn't as my ex has told people it was. Would they contact me to inform me I've been flagged? Would they check my criminal record or will they pull me in and ask me my side of the story when I arrive? Can anybody put my mind at ease? I'm hoping they don't take psycho ex girlfriend's sisters seriously when they call up with accusations in the hope of getting someone refused entry, but thought I'd ask.

You shouldn't have problems provided there hasn't been any sort of official report to the police over any incident.

No - they won't contact you to tell you that you've been flagged.

Consider you have not overstayed or violated any laws in Canada, immigration should not have any problems with you. They still reserve the rights to pull you into secondary and interviews you further, just as anyone entering Canada.
