HI,

I am in India now. I have enough work experience in Canada (Which was under Work permit). Can i apply for Canadian experience class Visa from India?

Is it mandatory that we should be in canada on WP while applying for CEC visa. :(

Please help!

Thanks,
Dileep

It is not mandatory to be in Canada when you apply. You can apply under CEC either while working in Canada or within one year of leaving your job in Canada.

No, I applied from my home country rather than Canada

So when you apply from home country , does it need to have "reference letter from its canadian company" and also what happens to reference if CIC would like to call them.

the requirements are the same whether you apply from Canada or your country.

Yes, you need a reference letter from where you gained your 1-yr of experience. If CIC calls your work place, they are calling to confirm your work experience.

Thank you all. One more help, Are you aware of any agency who can help me on this from India( In chennai or in Kerala).
I checked with y-Axis here in Chennai but they are unaware of Canadian experience class... :(

Sorry, I'm not from India so I'm not familiar with any agencies. What I can say is; if you go through the CEC checklist and follow everything step by step and provide the documents they ask for, you should be fine! If you have more questions, you can ask the members on here because I'm sure someone has had the same questions as you. And the best part about asking people with same experiences as you on here is that, it's totally free! Hope everything works out for you!
