Can I apply for TRV after my approval of LMIA based work permit(In canada approval)?

Hi,

I was working on PGWP and it was expired on 8th Dec 2021. So, my employer supported me by providing LMIA and I applied for a work permit on Nov 16th, 2021 which is now approved. Now, I'm planning to travel to India but my current visa is expired. Can I apply for TRV(stamping) with the approval letter or do I need to wait for the work permit copy?

You can apply for a new TRV that would carry a worker's status, and with this you can travel in and out of Canada

You do not need to wait for a copy of your work permit.
