Hello everyone,

I would like some advice.
My mother is currently in Ontario with me on a visitor visa.
I recently got employed on a 6 month-temporary contract.
The job contract salary is above the low-income cut-off, so I do not believe it should be an issue

Can I apply for either i) a supervisa for my mother or ii) to extend her stay in Canada, using this contract as proof of finance or will it be rejected?

thank you for any advice.
cheers.

You can if your T4 shows you make the cut.

She can if she can show enough funds OF HER OWN.

thanks for your advice Jalex.

l recently got the 6 month contract, so I do not have a T4.
Would a job letter from my employer be sufficient ?

warm regards.

Hey,

Did you get the visa? I also have a new contract job and wanted to apply for my mother’s super visa. The contract is for 11 months and income is WAY above LICO. Pls suggest.
