can I apply for PR through sponsorship when I am with a criminal record

The charge was withdrawn-diversion 5 month ago. so I am not inadmissible.

My girlfriend is a canadian citizen. She has a decent job. If we marry early next year which is less one year after my charge, is it possible that I got approved of PR application through sponsorship?

It really depends on what you were charged with. You stated you had a criminal record in your title then stated the charges were withdrawn. If you don't have a record, you will likely have no issues, however you WILL have to be clear about what happened. Don't leave anything out because that is misrepresentation.

If your crime was a domestic crime, such as hitting a spouse/family member, you may find yourself inadmissible even if the charges were withdrawn. It really just depends on the crime.
