Can I apply for OWP for my husband separately after my study permit is approved

Hello,
I am new to this process. Can I apply for OWP for my husband afterwards, I mean after(if) study permit is approved. I already applied for my study permit, so I can't apply for him now. Now my question is - if I get my study permit approved, can I apply for his OWP afterwards?

Hello,

My wife left to Canada on 31 Aug 2017 ( Student visa 2 years ) and we are married in Nov 2016. How long I have to wait to apply for OWP based on my wife's permit.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
