Can I apply for ontario work before my eligibility hearing?

I submitted my documents to IRCC and my eligibility hearing is in two weeks, now im out of money because im here for three month so I was paying for rent, lawyer and my experience now im out of cash and will not be able to for my rent, do you thin ontario work will accept my case for social assistance before I do my eligibility hearing?

Or just call your town municipality to inquire
