Can I apply for OINP (master/PHD stream) without getting my PGWP

Hi All,

I recently just graduated from an Ontario University, and I am preparing for filing OINP. My study permit is valid till end of April-2016, can I file ONIP with my current study permit as "proof of valid status"? I don't want to wait for the approval of my PGWP because it might take a while from now.

You can apply. Because I know a few people who did so.

However, I'm not sure how it will affect your application for PGWP, as it's for "temporary" worker whereas your PNP application is for "permanent" residence.
